A statement from ecoShuttle

Updated March 13, 2020

We continue to follow — and encourage you to as well — the advice of the Oregon Health Authority. They have not recommended we limit any transit or charter services at this time. Like us, health experts understand transit is vital to the community and many people are dependent on our commuter services to get where they need to go. While many events and other social gatherings may be canceled with the new policies introduced by Gov. Brown, people still need to get to work, social services, medical appointments and smaller events. ecoShuttle takes this responsibility very seriously.

We have created aggressive cleaning and disinfecting measures within our company that have been in place since first we had heard about the possible risk of infection, designed for the protection of both our staff and our passengers.

The Oregon Health Authority is recommending "social distancing" — that you maintain three feet of distance between yourself and other people to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. With more people working remotely, there is more space on buses and trains. As you travel on our buses, we do ask that you remain respectful of other people and their space. We have asked our drivers to refrain from physical contact such as common handshakes.

Please let us know if there is anything additional that we could be doing to make your trip healthier. Please do NOT take transit transportation or participate in a chartered event if you or a loved one is sick. Together we can keep our community healthy.
